Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino 2017

Fugligni’s Brunello di Montalcino is a time-honored interpretation of the pure Sangiovese grapes, grown exclusively in Montalcino in the estate-owned vineyards. The vines are close to thirty years old, with excellent exposure and stony tuffaceous soil dating back to the Eocene epoch. Aged 48 months in total, including at least thirty in oak

WINEMAKER NOTES

Fuligni

by Paolo Vagaggini

The 2017 vintage reveals deeply layered tones of red cherry, wild berry, rose, candied violets, and hints of flowery undergrowth. Give the wine an extra twirl or two, and you get some rosemary and lavender. This is a perfumed and savory wine, with masses of black cherry and spice filling the palate and silky textures that leave saturating minerals in their wake
