At Tzivon Vineyard, in the Galilee, we are sourcing some of our best Syrah from Israel’s only certified biodynamic vineyard. And not surprisingly, the grapes serve up a richness of flavor reflected in the resulting wine—some of which is destined for Covenant Israel Syrah. Syrah 2018 is made from 90% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, both grown at the Tel Faris Vineyard in the Golan Heights.

Covenant Israel Wines

by Jeff Morgan
Syrah 2018 is made from 90% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, both grown at the Tel Faris Vineyard in the Golan Heights. Rich, lush-textured and brimming with red fruit flavors, it (like all our wines) is fermented with native yeast, which we believe highlights the essence of terroir. Firm, ripe tannins give good structure to a wine that we believe clearly demonstrates how well suited Syrah is to Israeli terroir.
