Castellare di Castellina, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, covers a total of 80 hectares, including 20 hectares occupied by olive groves. Among the estate's numerous award-winning wines, I Sodi di San Niccolò clearly stands out as the most overlooked high-end wine in Tuscany today, although it gained an iconic status and appears regularly on the Wine Spectator Top 100 list

Castellare di Castellina

by Alessandro Cellai
With a celebratory black label, Castellare di Castellina highlights the 40th harvest of this exceptional wine. The 2017 vintage shows an expressive nose encompassing blood oranges, violet petals, cloves, blackberries, blueberries, spices and a touch of rhubarb. The palate is incredibly long, with a meeting of tannic textures and a finish that is defined by lively acidity and finesse.
