Although the domaine was established in 1959 the Fevre family’s history in Chablis goes back over 250 years, during which much effort was devoted to extending and improving the estate and at the same time promoting the Chablis appellation. The famous Maisons & Domaines Henriot acquired the estate in 1998 and has continued along the same tradition until 2015 when the change to biodynamic viticulture was introduced. This iconic estate in Chablis is widely acclaimed for crystalline precision of its wines. Chardonnay territory, Chablis offers a fresh and delicate interpretation of the grape

Winemaker Notes

Didier Serguier

William Fevre

by Didier Serguier
The Mont de Milieu terrior being one of the best Premier Crus in Chablis due to the dry limestone soils, produces a Chardonnay based, tasteful, flowery and spicy wine This terroir benefits from a higher average temperature and a longer period of sunshine than the other Premiers Crus. Aromas of sweet fruits and hazelnuts combine with a powerful racy and delicate mineral character The 20132 vintage experienced good, dry and hot weather which reappeared in mid-July and lasted until September. This is why the grapes reached optimum maturity while remaining very healthy. The wines surprise with their perfect balance between concentration and freshness, Reviews: Wine Advocate. 93 Wine Spectator. 93 Antonio Galloni. 93 Burghound. 90 - 92 Wine Enthusiast. 95
