There are few estates in Bordeaux that have the ‘wow’ factor quite like this one. Château Lagrange is an imposing and immense estate unrivaled in the region for its buildings’ scale and grandeur. Although it is positioned quite far inland in the Saint-Julien wine region, it seems to stretch forever towards the Gironde estuary A veritable demonstration of balance, the first wine of the estate illustrates the perfect alchemy between the three grape varieties : Cabernet sauvignon, Merlot and Petit verdot. Powerful and lively in its youth, a slow, serene evolution over time endows this wine with a delicate elegance

Chateau Lagrange

by Matthieu Bordes
Chateau Lagrange 2020 expresses the exceptional richness and great freshness of its fruit and the terroir of this iconic property of Saint-Julien. Intense and expressive, the wine presents aromas of blackcurrant and black cherry with spicy, smoky notes. Aromas of cedar, liquorice or tobacco also develop over the years, typical of the top Saint-Julien wines. Endowed with a rare elegance and stylistic signature, the Chateau Lagrange 2020 is certainly in line with the great vintages of the property
