Enclos Tourmaline is located on the highest point of the famous plateau of the smallest appellation of Bordeaux: Pomerol. The property was acquired by Peter Kwok and his son Howard in 2012. Enclos Tourmaline is produced in small quantities only during great vintages. The first vintage produced less than 1,000 bottles, and in 2013 no wines were made at all.
James Suckling rated the 2020 vintage 96-97

Enclos Tourmaline pomerol

by Peter Kwok
From Robert Parker: The 2020 Enclos Tourmaline is made from 100% Merlot, harvested on the 16th of September, aging in 100% new French oak barriques. It weighs in with an alcohol of 14.7% and a pH of 3.67. Revealing a very deep purple-black color, it has a profound nose of blackberry pie, blueberry compote and plum preserves, with underlying suggestions of licorice, espresso, black olives and crushed rocks. The rich, full-bodied palate is jam-packed with fragrant black fruit preserves, framed by velvety tannins and a fantastic line of freshness, finishing with great length and wonderful purity. Barrel Sample: 94-96
