The 2016 vintage shows lots of plum and dark-berry character with cedar, sandalwood and ethereal echoes of rubber. There is also a more developed subtext, which recalls sweet spices, skins and animal notes. Consistent with the style, velvety tannins constitute the main backbone, supported by a fine acidic shoulder that provides a vivid finish
