Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion 2008

The estate has a rich history in producing fantastic wines, something that has led to La Mission being labeled as ‘the quintessential insider's wine’. Many consider La Mission Haut-Brion to be the ‘sixth first growth’, and wine critic Robert Parker has awarded the estate more 100-point scores than any other estate in the Médoc and Graves. La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion is the second wine of the property

WINEMAKER NOTES

Château La Mission Haut-Brion

by Prince Robert du Luxembourg

The 2008 vintage has a fragrant, rose petal nose with dark berries, liquorice, aromatic herbs, coffee and underbush, with fine definition and opening nicely with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, good concentration, and great precision on the finish. It is classy and sophisticated with great persistence
