Domenico Clerico Pajana 2012

The Pajana vineyard takes its name from the old road that runs along the top of the hill, an ancient pass that connected Monforte d'Alba and Serralunga, which is still accessible on foot today. A vineyard in flourishing balance, with scrupulous attention to the vinification, to carry its exuberance in the glass

WINEMAKER NOTES

Domenico Clerico

by Domenico Clerico

The opulence and intensity of Pajana 2012 is impressive on the nose from the beginning, showing plums, ripe strawberries, mushrooms and smoked meat. It is full-bodied and chewy with a tight, focused palate of ripe fruit and chewy tannins. The wine's length is what stands out, as you taste those Nebbiolo characteristics for many long minutes
