Bader-Mimeur Château de Chassagne-Montrachet
CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET is located in the Côte de Beaune, at the south corner of the Côte d’Or. The altitude is moderate, the vines range from 240 and 320 meters. The South of the Côte d’Or is under the influence of the airmass originating in the Mediterranean, Atlantic or Continental climates. The winds bring hot or cold (the “bise” from the East) but have the advantage of sweeping away bad weather. The mountain and the Montrachet in the west form a good natural barrier.
