Henri Bonneau, the iconoclastic vigneron nicknamed the Dean of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, died in 2016 at age 77. His son Marcel now runs the 6.5-hectare estate, mainly planted with Grenache, complemented by Mourvèdre, Counoise and Vaccarèse. He his acknowledged for producing “old-school” Grenache
