Podere Grattamacco was founded in 1977. The 80-hectare estate is situated on a hill overlooking the sea between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri at 100 to 200 metres above sea level. Since 2002, it has been part of the ColleMassari Wine Estates group, to which Poggio di Sotto also belongs. Claudio Tipa, former industrialist and mastermind behind ColleMassari, has been running it with a lot of passion and high competence ever since - first as tenant, meanwhile as owner.
